C4dcafe.com is a website dedicated to modelling in cinema 4d.

each month they have a new challenge that everyone can take part, recently the challenge was to model a chess set.

my plan was to model lego star wars figures.
 minifig  r2d2  stormtrooper  darthmaul  unfortunately due to time constraints i couldnt finish it
 
   

i started by modelling the basic minifig as most of the characters i planned to model used this as the base.

then for the most part it was just a case of creating new textures and the odd helmet or cape.

i may get back to these models and finish a full chess set or atleast get round to texturing r2d2.
